Our Mission
I am driven by my mission to apply science and engineering to create social impact. With a background in physics, electrical engineering, and computational biology, I aim to develop technologies that address systemic inequalities. I’m especially passionate about increasing representation and opportunity for women in STEM. My work focuses on making sustainable technologies accessible to marginalized communities. I believe scientific innovation should be rooted in the needs and voices of the people it serves. This includes building energy-efficient systems for communities most affected by climate change. In addition, I seek to leverage computational tools to improve healthcare outcomes in underserved populations, bridging the gap between technical research and public policy. Through the ViridianNexus organization, I hope to help create a more just, inclusive, and sustainable future.
