Janvi Trivedi

My name is Janvi Trivedi, and I am a sophomore at The Harker School with a strong passion for physics and electrical engineering to solve the world’s most pressing problems. I’m currently involved in Future Problem Solvers. I’m deeply passionate about sustainability and believe engineers and scientists have a responsibility to design solutions that protect our planet for the long term. Whether that means creating energy-efficient systems, exploring clean technologies, or rethinking how we consume and produce, I want to help shape a world that’s more sustainable and conscious of its impact. I’m especially interested in how engineering can address global challenges such as climate change, resource conservation, and sustainable infrastructure.

In many technical spaces, I’ve seen how girls are often overlooked or underestimated. That’s something I’m determined to help change. I want to be part of a generation that makes innovation more inclusive, spaces where people of all backgrounds feel seen, heard, and empowered to lead. I truly believe the best ideas come from a mix of perspectives. Ultimately, I want to use STEM to help build a future that’s both inclusive and environmentally responsible.
